Lemon               (or               Lime)               is               an               ideal               remedy               for               cold.

Add               juice               of               one               lemon               to               a               glass               of               tea               (not               hot!

-               heat               kills               vitamin               C)               and               add               a               little               bit               of               honey.

Do               not               substitute               honey               with               sugar.

Try               not               to               consume               products               containing               sugar               when               you               are               sick;               sugar               weakens               your               immune               system.

Garlic               and               onion               are               beneficial               in               treating               cold.

If               you               are               already               sick,               try               to               eat               more               raw               onion               and               garlic               (salads,               garlic               or               onion               in               dishes               that               were               cooked               for               a               long               time               looses               it's               power).

If               somebody               from               your               family               is               sick               and               you               are               trying               to               protect               yourself               from               virus               (at               home)               -               put               a               medium               size               clove               in               your               mouth               and               do               your               everyday               chores.

Bite               that               clove               from               time               to               time.
               Cut               ginger               into               small               pieces               and               boil               it               in               water.

Strain               and               add               a               teaspoon               of               honey.

Drink               it               hot.

Ginger               boosts               the               immune               system               and               respiration.
               Gargle               with               a               mixture               of               warm               water               (1/2               cup)               +               1/2               teaspoon               of               salt               +               baking               soda               on               a               tip               of               a               knife               to               relieve               sore               throat.
               To               relieve               nasal               congested               or               sore               throat               -               boil               potato               (2-3               pieces)               in               water               and               when               it's               cooked               place               the               pan               on               a               chair,               sit               next               to               it,               cover               yourself               (and               the               pan)               with               a               blanket               or               big               towel               and               inhale               the               steam.

If               you               are               not               planing               to               use               those               potatoes,               add               some               eucalyptus               oil               to               the               water.
               When               you               are               sick,               bath               or               even               shower               is               not               recommend.


               But               soaking               your               feet               in               hot               (warm)               water               can               be               very               helpful               when               trying               to               relieve               chest               and               nasal               congestion.

At               the               same               time               drink               hot               tea               (with               honey)               or               ginger               tea.

Make               sure               you               are               covered               well               and               do               not               walk               for               an               hour               or               so.

Just               lay               down,               cover               yourself               with               thick               blanket               and               try               to               sweat.

Keep               drinking               hot               tea.

The               more               you               sweat               -               the               better.

*This               treatment               is               not               for               people               with               high               fewer!!!
               Herbal               tea               is               a               great               way               to               treat               cold!

Herbs:               Chamomile,               Calendula               Flowers,               Yarrow,               Echinacea,               Rose               Hips               (great               source               of               vitamin               C)               and               other.
               Horseradish               relieves               sore               throat               and               nasal               congestion               in               seconds!

Horseradish               is               a               folk               remedy               for               breaking               up               mucus               in               the               breathing               passages.

Eat               it               or               mix               ground-up               horseradish               and               honey               into               a               glass               of               water,               then               gargle.
               Make               a               hole               in               a               medium               size               radish               (               not               small               radish               or               spring               radish)               and               fill               it               with               honey,               leave               it               overnight               and               drink               that               liquid               next               day               (two               tablespoons               before               meal).
               When               you               have               severe               nasal               congestion               combine               onion               juice               (2-3               drops)               +               olive               oil               (2-3               drops)               and               use               it               as               a               nasal               drops               (1-2               times               a               day).
               Some               studies               show               that               Zinc               appears               to               have               antiviral               properties.

Buy               any               zinc               supplement               and               take               when               needed.
